Untuk membuat shortcut Log-Off User, ikutilah langkah-langkah berikut ini:
1. Klik kanan pada desktop, kemudian pilih New Shortcut New Shortcut.
2. Ketik “shutdown –l –t 02” pada kotak isian type the location of the item pada kotak dialog Create Shortcut. Maksud parameter di atas, yaitu membuat komputer melakukan log-off pengguna (shutdown -l) setelah delay 2 detik (-t 02).
3. Lalu pada kotak dialog selanjutnya, yaitu Select a Title for the Program, ketik nama shortcut (Log Off User.exe) dengan mengisi kotak Type a name for this shortcut. Kemudian klik tombol
Finish.
4. Klik ganda ikon Log Off User.exe untuk menjalankan perintah shutdown.
